The Christmas Tree in Rome turns lights on – 8 December 2019
Following the tradition, the Christmas Tree in Rome turns its lights on in Piazza Venezia on 8 December.
“Spelacchio” (this is its name) is a 23 meter tall fir tree that comes from Cittiglio (Varese), close to the Maggiore Lake in the North of Italy.
It will be decorated with 80 thousand LED lights and hundreds of spheres and crystals, colored in red, gold and silver.
The Christmas Tree is sponsored by Netflix and will be lighted 24 hours a day until 6 January.
Come to Rome and experience the Christmas atmosphere in the city. Our Christmas Tree will welcome you in the Hotel Centro!
