Christmas Stars and markets – 8 December 2019
Red leafs of “Christmas Star” are now welcoming you at our Hotel Centro!
This plant, which originally comes from Mexico and was first introduced to the US in 1825, today decorates our hall to fully bring you in the Christmas atmosphere.
And you can breathe Xmas air in the historical heart of Rome and its markets! Here are tips & trics:
–Piazza di Spagna, until 6 January 2020, everyday 10.00-19.00
Ligths shine on the streets via dei Condotti and via del Babuino, while the square host pictoresque markets and the Nativity Scene lies down the Spanish Steps.
–Piazza Navona, until 6 January 2020, everyday
It is the most famous traditional Xmas market in Rome, with its candies and sweeties, carousel and toys, craftsmen and artisans. The Nativity Scene is the central point, while street artists performe around.
On 6 January a bizarre old Befana will go trough the square, running on her broom!

In December, the market in the garden is coloured in white and offers a variety of Xmas decorations and gifts: ceramics, wooden objects, carillon, regional gastronomic specialities.
METRO A: from Termini, Battistini direction, stop in Lepanto and then walk.
–La Fabbrica degli Elfi, Via Tuscolana 179, until 6 January 2020, everyday
“La Fabbrica degli Elfi” takes place in the new location “RagusaOff”, exemple of industrial architecture restoration (the old depot of ATAC buses in Piazza Ragusa), in the district S. Giovanni/Tuscolano. A big space of 6.000 mq host 200 exhibitors and many events for adults and kids: home of Santa Claus, ice skating rink, concerts and music.
